A gift exchange between the scouts will take place. Please purchase an appropriate gift that costs $10 to $15. For those who haven’t participated in past holiday events, the scouts will form a circle and the gifts will be rotated around the circle as dictated by a scout song. The scouts keep the gift they possess at the end of the song.
Please bring baked goods or other such items if possible. The pack will provide juice and water.
Pinewood derby car kits will also be distributed.
The meeting will not be long. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the zoo and festival of lights.
November’s core value is Citizenship. The concept of goodwill will also be discussed. Den leaders should contact me if their den wishes to perform a skit or anything else demonstrating citizenship. If den leaders or parents have any suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
Uniform inspection will take place during the pack meeting. Uniform inspection sheets will be distributed. I need den leaders and other adults to volunteer to conduct the uniform inspection. I suggest den leaders inspect dens other than their own.
We still need volunteers for both Sundays. Please let me know if you can volunteer an hour between 10AM & 3PM.
For those who volunteered to help on 10/5, please note the date is now 10/6 and let me know if it does not work for you.
Please dress your scouts in class A uniform (shirts instead of T-shirts). Proceeds from the Sunday sales will count towards prize level for those scouts in attendance.
